What a Canker Sore is And Home Remedies to Get Rid of It

Okay, So a couple of days ago I caught a really painful canker sore. It really hurts but I am going to give you some home remedies on how to stop and get rid of canker sores.

Some causes of a canker sore are Immune system malfunction, A minor injury caused by eating rough foods like chips and nuts or by biting the inner portion of the mouth (which I think happened to me I ate a lot of peanuts at logans steak house it is really good), Menstrual period, Food allergies, Trauma to the mouth, and Bacterial infections.

Now one thing you can do is Rinse your mouth with a dab of aloe juice a couple of times a day I guess it helps with the pain and clean it out but it might help I haven’t tried it. Another thing you can do is put alum on the canker sores twice a day it quickens healing and helps with pain. Apply some baking powder in paste form. Rinse your mouth several times a day by mixing one tsp. of baking soda with half cup of warm water it really stings but helps I did it once I couldn’t handle the pain although I did it with a regular sore. Make a mouthwash by mixing a tsp. of Grapefruit seed extract with a glass of water. Rinse a couple of times in a day I don’t know if it works probably does I haven’t tried it so I can’t give you input. Another home prepared mouthwash to use is three parts of water with one part of hydrogen peroxide. Use twice a day also might work. Using onion is another effective home remedy for canker sores. Apply some raw onions to the sores this sounds gross since its raw onions. Rinse your mouth with plum juice I want to try this it sounds easy. Eat fresh papaya fruit, or take papaya tablets I didn’t know papaya’s worked but it’s interesting. Gargle your mouth with a solution made by mixing 2 tbsp. of salt in a cup of warm water hurts but helps. Apply tea tree oil to the sores it sounds weird but it probably works.

Usual signs of a canker sore are swelling on a lip or your tongue you will feel pain around above, or under these swellings. When you eat stuff and the sore is around the bottom lip it might affect your teeth and make them hurt it happens to me it is really painful. I hope this blog helps people get rid of their canker sore and orajel helps for like ten minutes stop hurting and you can try tooth paste it stings but helps not feel pain and heals it slowly. Canker sores are usually white or yellow but mine is all ink and red and all wrinkly but I hope I get rid of this thing soon it even hurts when I sleep, talk and breath. Oh and when you brush your teeth it might hurt but lightly brush the sore and you might think you taste blood it is probably salt.
