Why Reading is Important

Reading is important for a whole bunch of reasons. One of the fundamental (fundamental means Forming a necessary base or core of central importance) reasons is that reading develops the mind. Reading is also a method of discovering new things and adding value to our knowledge base. It is also a vital (vital means absolutely necessary or important) skill that can help us to find a good job because some well paying jobs require reading as part of job performance. Reading is also important because it helps keep your mind active and growing. And people who read more often are more likely to have more knowledge of some subjects (I imagine like reading or English) (1)

What a Canker Sore is And Home Remedies to Get Rid of It

Okay, So a couple of days ago I caught a really painful canker sore. It really hurts but I am going to give you some home remedies on how to stop and get rid of canker sores.

Some causes of a canker sore are Immune system malfunction, A minor injury caused by eating rough foods like chips and nuts or by biting the inner portion of the mouth (which I think happened to me I ate a lot of peanuts at logans steak house it is really good), Menstrual period, Food allergies, Trauma to the mouth, and Bacterial infections.

Now one thing you can do is Rinse your mouth with a dab of aloe juice a couple of times a day I guess it helps with the pain and clean it out but it might help I haven’t tried it. Another thing you can do is put alum on the canker sores twice a day it quickens healing and helps with pain. Apply some baking powder in paste form. Rinse your mouth several times a day by mixing one tsp. of baking soda with half cup of warm water it really stings but helps I did it once I couldn’t handle the pain although I did it with a regular sore. Make a mouthwash by mixing a tsp. of Grapefruit seed extract with a glass of water. Rinse a couple of times in a day I don’t know if it works probably does I haven’t tried it so I can’t give you input. Another home prepared mouthwash to use is three parts of water with one part of hydrogen peroxide. Use twice a day also might work. Using onion is another effective home remedy for canker sores. Apply some raw onions to the sores this sounds gross since its raw onions. Rinse your mouth with plum juice I want to try this it sounds easy. Eat fresh papaya fruit, or take papaya tablets I didn’t know papaya’s worked but it’s interesting. Gargle your mouth with a solution made by mixing 2 tbsp. of salt in a cup of warm water hurts but helps. Apply tea tree oil to the sores it sounds weird but it probably works.

Usual signs of a canker sore are swelling on a lip or your tongue you will feel pain around above, or under these swellings. When you eat stuff and the sore is around the bottom lip it might affect your teeth and make them hurt it happens to me it is really painful. I hope this blog helps people get rid of their canker sore and orajel helps for like ten minutes stop hurting and you can try tooth paste it stings but helps not feel pain and heals it slowly. Canker sores are usually white or yellow but mine is all ink and red and all wrinkly but I hope I get rid of this thing soon it even hurts when I sleep, talk and breath. Oh and when you brush your teeth it might hurt but lightly brush the sore and you might think you taste blood it is probably salt.

HD 189733b (planet)

Scientists have discovered what they believe is a blue planet circling a star 63 light years away in the constellation Vulpecula (it is where a constellation is). But the similarity to our own deep-blue planet of life likely ends there. (1)

The prosaically (prosaically means in a matter-of-fact manner) dubbed HD 189733b is much bigger than Earth. In fact, it's 13 percent bigger than Jupiter, the largest planet in our own solar system. It's also hotter than Hades, and also Earth. It is about 1,800 degrees with 4,350 mph winds blasting the heat around the planet. (1)

If you are wondering why it is so hot? It is because It is only 2.8 million miles from its star, compared with the Earth's average 93 million-mile distance from the sun. The tight orbit means HD 189733b circles its star once every 2.2 Earth days. And if Its weather isn't wild enough, scientists believe it rains liquid glass over HD 189733b, contributing to its blue hue. HD 189733b was discovered in 2005. Its blue color was discerned after the research team, using the Hubble Space Telescope, observed the planet before and after it passed behind its star. By subtracting the star's light from the combined light of the planet and star, the researchers' determined that the planet's reflected light likely falls into the blue part of the spectrum. (1)

It's the first time scientists have been able to tell the color of a planet outside our solar system. This is very cool and interesting. And there are 723 confirmed exoplanets listed so far and another 3,160 unconfirmed exoplanet candidates. That is a lot of planets in one huge area filled with stars. (1)

It would be really cool if life could live on here but I don’t know if it can or already does. Although I hope Hd 189733b gets a new name cause let’s be honest it is too hard to remember and it doesn’t make since why they call it that I will probably look it up.
